As a Real Estate Senior Advisor supporting major pipeline projects, you will play a key role in advancing the company’s growth strategy by leading complex land and right-of-way efforts across large-scale pipeline developments. This position blends expertise in land acquisition, property management, stakeholder engagement, and market analysis with strong project leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
You will work closely with business development, commercial, engineering, operations, legal, environmental, and project teams to secure the land rights and agreements needed to support pipeline routing, construction, operation, and expansion. What You’ll Do
- Lead and support land, right-of-way, and real estate activities for long haul pipeline projects from early development through execution.
- Negotiate and secure rights-of-way, easements, temporary workspace agreements, access agreements, leases, and property acquisitions needed for pipeline construction, operation, and maintenance.
- Partner with business development, commercial, engineering, legal, environmental, permitting, and project teams to align land strategies with project scope, schedule, and business objectives.
- Guide feasibility studies, route evaluations, market analysis, and risk assessments to ensure projects are grounded in sound financial, operational, and regulatory practices.
- Coordinate with municipalities, regulatory agencies, legal teams, and external stakeholders to manage compliance and resolve title, curative, condemnation, and other complex land issues.
- Oversee contractors, brokers, landmen, surveyors, and other third-party resources supporting land-related project activities.
- Act as the primary liaison with landowners and external partners, building and maintaining relationships that protect company interests and support project success.
- Monitor market trends, analyze property valuations, and identify opportunities and risks to inform project decisions and optimize portfolio value.
- Prepare, review, and administer land agreements, contracts, and supporting documentation to enable efficient and compliant project execution.
- Support project reporting, issue tracking, and continuous improvement efforts to enhance execution, consistency, and long-term value delivery.
What You’ll Bring – Required
- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5 or more years of experience in large scale pipeline projects, land acquisition, right-of-way, or real estate development
- Experience negotiating easements, access agreements, leases, and other land rights instruments
- Proficiency in financial analysis and risk assessment
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to travel domestically up to 50%
What Makes You Stand Out – Preferred
- Degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Petroleum Land Management, or a related field
- 5 or more years of experience leading the right of way acquisition and non-environmental permitting for major pipeline projects
- Oil and gas industry experience
- Advanced knowledge of market analysis, regulatory requirements, property law, and land documentation
- Demonstrated success leading complex negotiations and resolving title, curative, or condemnation issues
- Proficiency in compliance management
- Experience leading cross-functional project support for pipeline routing, permitting, construction, and operations
- Proven ability to oversee contractors and mentor less experienced team members
Compensation Range
This position has a base salary range of $140,400 - $171,600.
