As an Advisor II, ICS, you will help protect critical industrial control systems and technology environments by monitoring security measures, addressing threats, and supporting secure, reliable operations. This role blends technical analysis, problem‑solving, and collaboration to strengthen the organization’s cybersecurity posture and ensure protection of essential systems and data.
This position is location at our Rodeo Renewable Energy Complex in Rodeo, CA.
What You Will Do
• Analyze and monitor cybersecurity measures across industrial control systems, including firewalls, encryption tools, and system configurations.
• Manage and support critical ICS infrastructure, including servers, workstations, network switches, and Windows domains while resolving service delivery issues.
• Perform testing, diagnostics, and troubleshooting to identify performance issues, security gaps, and faults, ensuring timely resolution and system integrity.
• Plan and manage hardware refreshes, cybersecurity activities, and potentially disruptive changes in ICS environments to support business continuity.
• Create and maintain documentation, ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements, and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
• Research emerging technologies, identify improvement opportunities, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance security and operational reliability.
What You Will Bring – Required
• 3 or more years of experience in an applicable Information Technology discipline
• Experience implementing security measures such as firewalls, encryption, and backup solutions
• Ability and willingness to provide day‑to‑day and after‑hours support (24x7)

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Legally authorized to work in the job‑posting country
• Physical requirements:
- Ability to lift and move computers, servers, and small network devices
- Travel up to 5% of the time
- Occasional on-call duties
- Work extended hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Transport articles up to 50 pounds
- Work safely near large, hot, high-speed machines
- Climb ladders and stairs up to 200 feet in height
- Work around chemicals, including acids and bases
- Work around hydrocarbons under high pressure and heat
- Work outside in harsh weather conditions
- Wear fire retardant clothing and personal protective equipment (such as steel-toe shoes, ear and eye protection)
- Maintain face daily so that a respirator/face mask can seal properly (some examples include being free of facial hair and/or clean shaven)
What Makes You Stand Out – Preferred
• Associate’s degree or higher in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5 or more years of experience in IT
• Experience with Cisco Catalyst switches, VMware or Nutanix clusters, and Windows Domain Administration
• Experience managing enterprise backup solutions and antivirus patching tools
• Understanding of firewalls, system security principles, and wireless network management
• Familiarity with scripting and reporting for routine tasks
• Experience supporting Distributed Control Systems or industrial environments
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work well with cross‑functional teams and communicate effectively
Compensation Range
This position has a base salary range of $106,200 - $129,800.
