This role provides leadership for the safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation and maintenance of site facilities and infrastructure. The Facilities Supervisor / Supervisor II, Maintenance leads employees and contractors supporting buildings, utilities, and site services while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. The position plays a key role in supporting day-to-day operations through strong planning, execution, and people leadership.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and supervise employees and contractors performing facilities and maintenance work.
- Set clear expectations for safety, quality, and performance.
- Ensure work is planned and executed in compliance with HSE, PSM, and site safe work practices, including permits, lockout/tagout, and confined space requirements.
- Coordinate daily work activities and prioritize maintenance and service requests.
- Support refinery or site operations through reliable and responsive facilities support.
- Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and HSE teams to align work with business needs and emergency response plans.
- Manage facilities assets and infrastructure, including buildings, HVAC, utilities, grounds, roads, and common service areas.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs using work management systems.
- Track performance metrics and address maintenance backlog or reliability risks.
- Support budgeting, cost control, and contractor management, including service contracts and small projects.
- Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency across facilities and maintenance activities.
What You’ll Bring – Required

- Valid driver’s license
- Must be willing and able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to comply with the following:
- Travel up to 5%
- Operate company vehicle on site premises and / or public roads up to 50%
- Work extended hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays, and occasional on-call duties
- Transport items up to 50 pounds
- Climb ladders and stairs up to 200 feet
- Work safely near large, hot, high-speed machines, around chemicals and hydrocarbons under high pressure and heat, and in harsh weather conditions
- Wear fire retardant clothing and personal protective equipment
- Maintain face daily for proper respirator/face mask seal (some examples include being free of facial hair and/or clean shaven)
- 3 or more years of experience in facilities, maintenance, construction, or related fields in an industrial, manufacturing, or large commercial environment
- Advanced proficiency in using work management or CMMS systems (such as SAP) for planning and scheduling work
What Makes You Stand Out – Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management, or a related field
- Experience managing operating and capital budgets
- Previous experience leading multi-discipline teams in a refinery, petrochemical, or heavy industrial environment
- Experience managing outsourced service providers and service contracts
- Strong proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office tools
- Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and standardized work practices
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
- Working knowledge of safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated knowledge of building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural, roofing, and fire protection systems
- Experience supervising employees and contractors and managing daily work execution
Compensation Range
This position has a base salary range of $124,200 – $151,800.

The Ponca City Refinery is located in Ponca City, Oklahoma, approximately 95 miles northwest of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Its facilities include crude distilling, naphtha reforming, fluid catalytic cracking, alkylation, hydrodesulfurization and delayed coking units. The refinery processes a mixture of light, medium and heavy crude oil delivered via pipeline from Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, the U.S. Rockies and Canada. Infrastructure improvements have enabled the delivery of locally produced crude oil by pipeline and truck. The refinery produces a high percentage of transportation fuels and anode-grade petroleum coke. Refined products are primarily distributed to customers by company-owned and common carrier pipelines to markets throughout the Midcontinent region.
