This Instrumentation & Electrical Technician will be based out of Platteville, CO and is primarily responsible for the safe operations and maintenance of Company pipeline assets located in and around the geographic area. The position will calibrate and inspect measurement equipment, conduct routine pipeline maintenance, eliminate and report product leaks, seeps, and spills, as well as assist with construction, maintenance and mechanical integrity projects on the pipeline. The position will maintain qualifications and record documentation in accordance with all applicable DOT and OSHA regulations to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities May Include:
•    Responsible for the repair and maintenance of the plant equipment, to ensure maximum production quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the company. 
•    Participates in plant maintenance program. 
•    Repairs or replaces plant equipment or systems on a scheduled or emergency basis. 
•    Participates in safe work permit and lock out tag out programs. 
•    Assists with diagnosing and trouble-shooting maintenance related issues. 
•    Knows and understands city, county, state, and federal regulations relating to maintenance and plant equipment, and work in a safe manner to ensure that these regulations are met at all times.
•    Participates in programs and procedures required to ensure plant cleanliness.
•    Participates in Health, Safety and Environmental programs.
•    Operate company vehicle to travel to nearby sites for emergency calls, as needed.
 
Basic Requirements:

•    Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
•    High School Diploma or GED equivalent
•    Must be at least 18 years of age
•    Must maintain a valid driver's license
•    Willingness and ability to perform and comply with following, with or without reasonable accommodations:
    o    To climb up to 50 feet using both inclined and vertical steps/ladders 
    o    To lift up to 45 pounds
    o    To bend, kneel, knee stand and squat up to 30 minutes at a time, to sit and stand for prolonged periods over 2 hours at a time according to job demands

Preferred Qualifications:

•    4 or more years of relevant Industry experience (Midstream, Pipelines or Terminals) or Military experience
•    4 or more years of experience working with electrical power and components, digital and analog circuitry, or OMNI flow computer
•    Working knowledge of the following:
    o    Electrical power and components 
    o    Digital and analog circuitry 
    o    One-line drawings and schematics 
    o    Allen-Bradley PLCs 
    o    Rosemount Transmitters 
    o    Delta V
    o    Variable Frequency Drives
    o    Voltages up to 4160VAC 
    o    Mechanical and rotating equipment

 

Midstream

Phillips 66's Midstream business is a safe, reliable and trusted logistics provider for the movement and storage of liquid or gas energy via pipelines or terminals. We are an industry leader in logistics and operate or manage more than 22,000 miles of pipelines that transport crude oil from oil fields to refineries and finished products from refineries to storage terminals. We operate 39 terminals that supply finished products to consumer gas stations, as well as crude oil and NGL storage terminals and NGL fractionation facilities. We also provide the connectivity between the various Phillips 66 business units.

Compensation:

The base pay range for this role is  $96,000.00-$106,100.00  depending on a candidate's relevant work experience and education.
