The Planner/Scheduler manages the Region Maintenance Schedule, provides planning and scheduling support to Engineering, Maintenance, COE and Operations personnel, and champions reliability efforts within the Region to ensure reliable and cost-effective Transportation & Logistics Operations.  Identifies and plans maintenance activities in response to operational and regulatory compliance needs. Maintains and publishes the preventive maintenance and compliance activity schedule. Functions as the Region’s primary point of contact for planned work activities.

 

Responsibilities May Include:

  • Communicates and Coordinates with Crafts, Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and COE to ensure the Region Maintenance Schedule is complete, accurate, and up to date
  • Utilize the Region Maintenance Schedule to identify and resolve logistical issues and schedule conflicts to ensure all maintenance and project work is completed in scope (time / cost)
  • Assisting Crafts, Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and COE with estimating, planning, and scheduling maintenance, and project work to minimize the impact to Transportation & Logistics Operations
  • Lead planning efforts of motor / pump overhaul execution identified by COE LRP as well as support break fix issues as appropriate
  • Participates in developing job scopes and defining job plans for large projects, to assure efficient work processes
  • Assists in the development, tracking and analysis of metrics to assess and report the status of preventive and predictive programs, to assess equipment condition relative to safety and serviceability, and to monitor and improve on equipment downtime and maintenance costs
  • Assisting Crafts, Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and COE with effectively managing the Region’s critical equipment inventory and critical spare replacement plan, as well as, maintaining and enhancing current Mid-Stream warehousing strategies
  • Assisting Crafts, Operations, Maintenance, Engineering with developing and tracking their assigned budgets
  • Coordinating with the Cost Analysts on spend forecasts and accruals
  • Coordinating with contractors to assign, schedule, and monitor status of their work
  • Ensuring costs are correctly assigned
  • Analyzing and reporting cost data and identifying cost reduction opportunities
  • Coordinating with the maintenance analysis to create job packets in SAP including fit for purpose details of scope and job steps
  • Coordinating with the maintenance analyst to ensure all material and service requests are provided on time
  • Work with the maintenance analyst to maintain equipment data in SAP PM module
  • Evaluating material and service providers to ensure they provide professional quality services
  • Supporting related inspections, audits, and Emergency Response activities

 

Position Requirements

 

Required:

  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent or higher
  • 7 or more year of experience working in the oil and gas industry
  • 3 or more years of experience working in field maintenance & operations troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment used oil and gas operations
  • Working knowledge of planning and scheduling practices
  • Able to read and understand related drawings and technical documents
  • Working knowledge of predictive and preventative maintenance processes
  • Working knowledge of industry safe work practices and Hazardous area classifications
  • Intermediate level of proficiency using MS Office Word and Excel
  • Willing and able to travel up to 25% 

 

Preferred:

  • Associate degree or higher
  • 5 or more years of experience working Midstream and/or Refining operations
  • Field level experience with rotating equipment in gas / liquid service
  • Intermediate level of proficiency using SAP PM / Anaplan, and other Maintenance Management Systems 

 

Midstream

The Phillips 66 Midstream business is a safe, reliable, and trusted provider for the movement, storage, gathering, and processing of liquid or gas energy via pipelines or terminals. We are an industry leader in logistics and operate or manage more than 70,000 miles of pipelines that transport crude oil from oil fields to refineries and finished products from refineries to storage terminals. We operate 39 terminals that supply finished products to consumer gas stations, as well as crude oil and NGL storage terminals and NGL fractionation facilities. Our capabilities include extensive natural gas gathering and processing operations, enhancing our wellhead-to-market strategy. We also provide the connectivity between the various Phillips 66 business units.
