Basic Function

The Coordinator, Brand & Communications plays a key role in supporting the Brand Marketing & Communications team by helping to develop, implement, and maintain a strong communications strategy. Working closely with the B2B Brand Specialist, internal teams, and external agencies, this role plays a key part in ensuring consistent, high-quality brand engagement with customers.

 

This role will be starting in June 2026. 

Primary Accountabilities/Responsibilities

  • Support the Specialist, B2B Brand Marketing, in coordinating brand communication plans across both the Phillips 66 and JET brands. 
  • Collaborate with external agencies and internal stakeholders to produce and distribute monthly customer e newsletters. 
  • Coordinate content creation for B2B social media channels, including attending retail locations to capture photos, videos, and updates that deliver timely, relevant, and brand-aligned content.
  • Assist the Brand Marketing team with the planning and execution of industry exhibitions and corporate hospitality.
  • Work in partnership with external agencies and venues to deliver safe, high-quality, and memorable events that reflect brand standards. 
  • Attend weekly agency meetings alongside the broader Brand team, contributing updates, supporting key initiatives, and ensuring alignment on deliverables. 
  • Lead the coordination of annual customer surveys, including designing questionnaires, managing distribution, and tracking responses. 
  • Monitor and report on industry news and competitor activities on a quarterly basis to help inform brand strategy. 
  • Support the wider Brand team in delivering strategic priorities, which may include project coordination and website support. 
  • Act as a Brand Ambassador for Phillips 66 and JET, consistently upholding brand guidelines and demonstrating brand values in all work.

Critical Skills/Leadership Criteria

  • Hold the legal right to live and work in the UK on a permanent basis without restrictions, or the role you are applying for meets the criteria for employer sponsorship. 
  • Strong organisational and project coordination skills. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to build relationships with internal teams, agencies, and external partners. 
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. 
  • Experience in marketing, communications, events, or a similar field (preferred but not essential).
