Basic Function
Responsible for daily operational processes associated with an international treasury function. You will work as part of a small team operating a single currency notional pool. Forecasting cash positions for companies outside of the US ensuring we have cash available in the right currencies at the right time. Entering FX deals to meet currency requirement or true up of pool positions. Invest surplus cash to optimise returns within defined parameters and the mobilisation of cash to meet corporate objectives.
Primary Accountabilities/Responsibilities
- Forecast CAD, EUR, GBP and USD cash flows on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to ensure funds are available to meet payments, and surplus balances can be invested
- Monitor forecasting accuracy
- Action special payment requests
- Settle and approve FX deal, MM investments and manual payments
- End-of-day treasury reporting
- Prepare weekly cash charts and monthly metrics
- Request payments from pre-pay customers
- Review orders for release if credit limits are exceeded
- Point of contact for bank KYC and bank account administration
- Support all team activities, acting as back-up when required
Critical Skills/Leadership Criteria
- Hold the legal right to live and work in the United Kingdom on a permanent basis without restrictions or the role you are applying for meets the criteria for employer sponsorship.
- Strong IT skills including knowledge of SAP, Kyriba, 360t and Finastra.
- Experience of Treasury Cash Management and / or Accounting Functions.
- Strong numeracy skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a team but also able to manage own workload with focus on key daily tasks.
- Flexible attitude and commitment to accuracy.
- Encourages continuous improvement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to support colleague development and training.
- Good organisational skills
