Job Purpose:

We are seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition (TA) Sourcing Specialist who excels in both sourcing and recruiting top-tier candidates. As a TA Sourcing Specialist, your primary responsibility will be talent sourcing. You will be tasked with identifying, attracting, and engaging top talent to meet the company's hiring needs. This hybrid role combines proactive talent sourcing with full-cycle recruitment, ensuring a seamless and strategic hiring process. You will identify, engage, and convert high-potential candidates into successful hires, partnering closely with, Sr. Recruiters, hiring managers and stakeholders to build a strong talent pipeline and deliver exceptional candidate experiences.  Serve as talent acquisition industry expert, providing the hiring manager with insights. TA Specialist will use data and relevant technology to inform decision-making and drive conversations

with customers. Serve as the subject matter expert around applicant tracking systems, candidate sourcing methodologies, and recruitment process.

Responsibilities:

Candidate Sourcing & Engagement

  • Conduct targeted searches using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, Boolean search, and AI-powered tools
  • Develop and implement effective talent sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates
  • Identify and engage passive candidates through personalized outreach and networking
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future roles
  • Track candidate interactions and maintain accurate records in the ATS

 

Recruitment Campaigns

 

  • Contribute to the creation of recruitment campaigns
  • Identify the characteristics of key candidate target groups
  • Propose channel and media selections and messaging content; design events; draft communications content and agency briefings

Full-Cycle Recruitment

  • Screen resumes and conduct initial screens to assess candidate fit
  • Coordinate and lead interviews with hiring managers and teams
  • Manage offer negotiations, and onboarding processes
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey

Market Research & Strategy

  • Analyze industry trends, competitor hiring strategies, and talent availability
  • Develop and refine sourcing and recruiting strategies tailored to each role
  • Provide insights on salary benchmarks, candidate expectations, and market shifts

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with Sr, Recruiters, and hiring managers to understand role requirements and team dynamics
  • Share qualified leads and recruitment updates with internal stakeholders
  • Participate in strategy meetings to align sourcing and recruiting efforts with business goals

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Monitor sourcing and recruiting metrics such as response rates, time-to-fill, and conversion rates
  • Identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements
  • Maintain dashboards and reports to track hiring progress and pipeline health

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience: 2–5 years in direct talent sourcing.  Proven experience in talent sourcing
  • Experience: Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques and tools
  • Experience: 2-5 years in recruiting, or a related HR role
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ATS platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM tools, and Boolean search
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, relationship-building, multitasking, and analytical skills

 

What Makes You Stand Out?

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • Experience recruiting within the Oil & Gas industry, with knowledge of sector-specific roles, terminology, and workforce dynamics
  • Excellent talent sourcing and networking skills
  • Experience: Proficiency in using sourcing tools and platforms
  • Experienced with developing candidate and recruitment agency briefings to attract high-quality candidates

Compensation Range: $85,000 - $94,500
