What to Expect
As a Sr Advisor, Logistics BI-Data Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how our organization leverages analytics to optimize supply chain performance and deliver real value. What You’ll Do
- Lead the development and execution of advanced analytics and reporting solutions to drive transparency and actionable insights across logistics and business operations.
- Analyze organizational reporting needs, translate them into standardized processes, and design Power BI dashboards and KPI frameworks that support strategic decision-making.
- Leverage data from diverse sources to identify trends, perform root cause analysis, and deliver recommendations that enhance performance and optimize supply chain and transportation logistics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as IT, to execute SAP system changes, advise on data structures, and ensure the quality and functionality of new and updated reporting standards through rigorous testing.
- Partner with stakeholders to support business improvement initiatives, generate performance metrics, and promote best practices for data management and process optimization.
- Develop and execute improvement plans, support system enhancements, and build consensus to advance process changes.
- Communicate progress clearly, balance strategic and tactical priorities, and operate effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Provide subject matter expertise, foster continuous learning, and help sustain project benefits by establishing meaningful business metrics and ownership for ongoing success.
What You’ll Bring – Required

- Must be willing and able, with or without reasonable accommodations, to comply with the following:
- Travel up to 5%
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3 or more years of professional experience working in procurement, logistics, transportation, or similar
- Proficiency working in Microsoft Suites (Advanced required)
- Proficiency working in PowerBI and SAP (Advanced required)
What Makes You Stand Out – Preferred
- Advanced degree in analytics fields
- Proficiency in Alteryx and Tableau
- Proficiency in MS SQL Server, DAX, Power Query, advanced data computations
- 5 or more years of experience in Commercial, Procurement, Transportation or Logistics support function
- Knowledge of supply chain and/or transaction processing
- 2 or more years of experience using SAP SD module, SAP S/4 HANA
- 2 or more years of direct experience working in the oil and gas logistics or transportation industry
- Business aptitude to understand Commercial Supply Chain and Transportation Operations as well as business integration points across the value chain
Compensation Range:
- $144,000 - $176,000
The Commercial organization works to effectively leverage assets and market knowledge to create additional value within the risk parameters of the Company. We do this by maximizing general interest profitability, enhancing return on capital employed by successfully partnering with the Refining, Transportation and Marketing functions to ensure Value Chain Integration. Our truck and rail fleets support our feedstock and distribution operations. Rail movements are provided via a fleet of more than 10,000 owned and leased rail cars. Truck movements are provided through numerous third-party trucking companies, as well as through our 100 percent-owned subsidiary, Sentinel Transportation LLC.
