Responsibilities May Include:
- Communicate effectively and develop key relationships with traders, fractionator personnel, third-par distribution personnel, and P66 support groups (all accounting groups, recon, treasury).
- Schedule NGL products in SAP.
- Provide accurate “current available inventory position” and “monthly inventory projections” to the Trader to capture market opportunities.
- Secure paperwork to ensure all transactions are documented. Reconcile monthly inventory (physical to book) and exchange balances.
- Resolve outstanding credit issues by working with the credit group to identify issues that are causing customer disputes.
- Proactively respond to opportunities to improve operations and procedures surrounding Commercial NGL and fractionator business.
- Coordinate all logistical issues and opportunities with Belvieu storage, rail, pipeline, truck.
- Work closely with the Business Development group to help identify possible long-term solutions to logistical constraints.
- Calculate complex pricing formulas and update SAP contracts.
- Ensure accounting is complete for all the movements.
- Act as a liaison between accounting/billing personnel and traders: aid in the resolution of price discrepancies, contract issues, payment terms, volume differences, etc.
- Approve/verify secondary cost invoices.
Required Qualifications:
- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
- Bachelors Degree
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Able to work remotely via cellphone and/or laptop computer 24/7
- Able to work extended and non-standard hours
Preferred Qualifications:
- NGL distribution and operations experience
- 2 or more years SAP experience
- Fractionator and/or accounting background
- Understanding of product exchanges
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment that contains a high degree of uncertainty and complex interactions
- Above average written and oral communication skills
- Ability to negotiate
- High level of computer literacy-spreadsheets and miscellaneous software systems.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Must be a team player – collaborative
- Must have initiative and resourcefulness
- Dependable, proactive, with high level of attention to detail
The Commercial organization works to effectively leverage assets and market knowledge to create additional value within the risk parameters of the Company. Our truck and rail fleets support our feedstock and distribution operations. Rail movements are provided via a fleet of more than 10,000 owned and leased rail cars. Truck movements are provided through numerous third-party trucking companies, as well as through our 100 percent-owned subsidiary, Sentinel Transportation LLC.
