Planner/Scheduler

The Planner/Scheduler manages maintenance planning and scheduling for pipeline and terminal facilities, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure efficient execution, long-range planning, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

 

Responsibilities May Include:

  • Maintenance Planning: Scope, estimate, requisition materials, identify contractors, and develop work packages for maintenance tasks, or assist with these activities
  • Scheduling: Analyze regional projects to optimize schedules, bundle work for efficiency, and minimize operational disruptions.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with operations, maintenance, contractors, and other stakeholders; serve as the primary contact for contractors to coordinate multiple work crews at multiple sites
  • Long-Range Planning: Update annual plans, prioritize work based on risk, align with budgets, and identify maintenance programs.
  • Process Improvement: Develop programs to group routine tasks (e.g., water draws, meter proving).
  • Administration & Compliance: Review SAP work order data, support inspections, audits, and Emergency Response activities.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Legally authorized to work in job posting country
  • 2-3 years of experience troubleshooting and maintaining pipeline/terminal equipment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; detail-oriented
  • Ability to proactively communicate with multiple stakeholders to bridge knowledge
  • Experience planning and scheduling maintenance or construction
  • Basic project management and SAP knowledge
  • High mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hazardous area classifications
  • Proficient in word processing and spreadsheets
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Willing to travel 25%-50% within the region

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of plant/maintenance experience
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree
  • Intermediate to advanced SAP knowledge

 

Midstream

The Phillips 66 Midstream business is a safe, reliable, and trusted provider for the movement, storage, gathering, and processing of liquid or gas energy via pipelines or terminals. We are an industry leader in logistics and operate or manage more than 70,000 miles of pipelines that transport crude oil from oil fields to refineries and finished products from refineries to storage terminals. We operate 39 terminals that supply finished products to consumer gas stations, as well as crude oil and NGL storage terminals and NGL fractionation facilities. Our capabilities include extensive natural gas gathering and processing operations, enhancing our wellhead-to-market strategy. We also provide the connectivity between the various Phillips 66 business units.
