The Paralegal, Litigation supports the Legal team by managing key aspects of litigation and arbitration matters, with a strong emphasis on discovery and case management. This role partners closely with attorneys, outside counsel, and internal business stakeholders to ensure matters are handled efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The position offers the opportunity to work within a large, collaborative legal organization while applying strong organizational, technical, and analytical skills.
What You'll Do
- Support all phases of litigation and arbitration matters, with an emphasis on discovery, including legal hold, preservation, collection, review, and production activities.
- Work closely with attorneys, outside counsel, experts, and internal stakeholders to investigate facts and support case strategy.
- Coordinate and conduct document custodian interviews and manage discovery databases and electronic case files.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned matters and assist with evaluating liability, insurance, and indemnity considerations.
- Prepare and manage moderately complex legal documents, reports, and correspondence using standard office and legal technology tools.
- Maintain organized records, track case-related data, and support budgeting and administrative activities.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with internal procedures and external legal and regulatory requirements.
What You'll Bring – Required
- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
- Bachelor’s degree
- 4 or more years of litigation experience in a law firm or corporate legal department
- Advanced proficiency in legal terminology, litigation processes, and discovery workflows
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office products and demonstrated aptitude for learning and using legal technology and discovery platforms
What Makes You Stand Out – Preferred
- Paralegal certificate
- Experience supporting commercial, tort, toxic tort, personal injury, environmental, or employment litigation
- Advanced experience with discovery platforms such as Relativity or similar tools
- Knowledge of structured and conceptual analytics, including email threading and technology-assisted review
- Experience working in the energy industry or a large, complex corporate environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Compensation Range
This position has a base salary range of $98,100- $119,900.
