What You’ll Do
- Lead and develop the Measurement and Loss Control team for third-party terminals, setting clear objectives and coaching to build technical and analytical capabilities.
- Oversee measurement accuracy, loss control activities, and reconciliation processes across multiple terminals and pipelines, ensuring smooth custody transfer and operational excellence.
- Partner with Trading, Scheduling, and external inspection partners to resolve complex disputes, drive commercial impact assessments, and deliver actionable insights that optimize performance.
- Foster a culture of integrity, continuous improvement, and high ethical standards, while maintaining robust analytics and reporting to support business transformation and strategic decision-making.
- Design and implement compliance programs, contribute to business planning and budgeting, and ensure data integrity across systems and platforms.
- Cultivate strong relationships with terminal operators, inspectors, and measurement partners, representing the organization professionally and championing innovation in measurement and loss control.
- Leverage advanced data analysis and predictive modeling to identify trends, optimize processes, and present findings to senior leadership.
- Shape policy, guide operational enhancements, and deliver measurable results that support the company’s mission and growth.
What You'll Bring – Required
- 6 or more years of substantial, relevant work experience in measurement, loss control, or related commercial/midstream operations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and standard business software
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
What Makes You Stand Out – Preferred
- 8 or more years of commercial or midstream experience, including scheduling, measurement, reconciliation, or commercial analytics
- Expertise in custody transfer analysis, terminal reconciliation, and measurement quality control
- Experience presenting complex analytical findings to senior leadership
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with business intelligence tools or analytical platforms
- Strong leadership, organizational, planning, and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in fast-moving commercial environments
- Demonstrated experience supervising and directing teams to achieve business objectives
- Strong analytical skills with advanced ability to collect, interpret, and report on complex data sets
Compensation Range
This position has a base salary range of $155,700 - $190,300.

The Commercial organization works to effectively leverage assets and market knowledge to create additional value within the risk parameters of the Company. We do this by maximizing general interest profitability, enhancing return on capital employed by successfully partnering with the Refining, Transportation and Marketing functions to ensure Value Chain Integration. Our truck and rail fleets support our feedstock and distribution operations. Rail movements are provided via a fleet of more than 10,000 owned and leased rail cars. Truck movements are provided through numerous third-party trucking companies, as well as through our 100 percent-owned subsidiary, Sentinel Transportation LLC.
