What to Expect
As the Learning Experience Design Lead, you’ll be at the forefront of transforming how employees learn and grow. You’ll lead a team of instructional designers and multimedia developers to create innovative, learner-centered experiences that drive performance and engagement. What You’ll Do
- Lead the design and development of engaging, scalable learning experiences across digital, blended, and in-person formats.
- Apply learning science, adult learning theory, and design thinking to create impactful solutions that meet business needs.
- Oversee the governance, selection, and implementation of learning technologies and tools in partnership with IT and vendors.
- Define and uphold a cohesive learning brand identity across all platforms and materials.
- Guide quality assurance and continuous improvement processes for instructional content and learner experiences.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess learning needs, identify skill gaps, and align development with strategic goals.
- Pilot emerging technologies (e.g., AI, XR/VR) and lead innovation initiatives to enhance the learner journey.
- Build a culture of creativity and experimentation through workshops, thought leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience: 3+ years in learning design, digital learning, or related roles; 1+ years in a leadership capacity.
- Education: Highschool diploma or GED
- Skills & Tools:
- Instructional design, learning science, and experience design
- Learning platforms (LMS, LXP), authoring tools, and design software
- Data analysis, storytelling, and branding in learning
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and project leadership
- Strong portfolio demonstrating innovative learning solutions and branding work
- Mindset: Strategic, innovative, and learner-obsessed with a passion for continuous improvement.
What Makes You Stand Out
- 7+ years in learning design, digital learning, or related roles; 3+ years in a leadership capacity.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Instructional Design, Learning Technologies, Human-Centered Design, or a related field.
- You are familiar with AI in learning, XR/VR, or data-driven learning design
- You have certification in design thinking, UX, or learning technologies
- You have experience working in agile or design sprint environments
- You bring a tech-forward mindset, always exploring new tools and trends to elevate learning.
- You’re a collaborative leader, known for building strong teams and inspiring creativity.
Compensation Range
- $136,800 - $167,000
