What to Expect

As a Specialist, Leadership Development for the Learning and Development (L&D) team, you will play a pivotal role in creating impactful learning experiences that foster leadership growth at all levels and enhance organizational performance. You will work closely with stakeholders to design and deliver engaging learning programs, utilizing data to continuously refine and improve outcomes. This role combines hands-on facilitation, strategic thinking, and program management, making it ideal for someone passionate about empowering others to succeed.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Facilitate in-person and virtual training to create positive, enabling learning experiences.
  • Design highly engaging, quality learning programs by applying adult learning methodologies.
  • Deliver coaching and thought leadership to proactively address business challenges by enhancing employee capabilities and driving timely, strategic solutions.
  • Apply Kirkpatrick’s model to analyze learning data and feedback, measure effectiveness, and continuously improve programs.
  • Build strong relationships with internal clients and translate business needs into impactful learning strategies.
  • Consult with internal clients as a strategic partner to ascertain needs, determine when training is the solution, and collaboratively provide the ideal solution.
  • Manage end-to-end execution of learning programs, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Support the implementation of L&D policies, development centers, and enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Collaborate across teams to promote a learning culture and drive performanc

 

What You’ll Bring (Required)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Adult Education, Human Resources, Leadership, or a related discipline (preferred) or 5 or more years of experience as a leader or leadership development trainer in a global multi-business organization
  • 3 or more years of experience in Learning & Development or a leadership role
  • Proven ability to facilitate engaging learning experiences both in-person and virtually
  • Solid understanding of leadership principles, models, and practical application
  • Advanced project management skills
  • Expertise in instructional design strategies and adult learning methodologies
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on relationship-building
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and learning technologies (e.g., LMS platforms, virtual delivery tools)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple programs and stakeholders with agility and precision
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 60% primarily to US based refineries

Compensation
