The HR Business Partner (HRBP), Midstream is based at the Phillips 66 Headquarters in Houston, Texas. This position supports the execution of people strategies in alignment with the overall business strategy for the Midstream organization. The HRBP, Midstream will serve as a trusted partner to Midstream leaders on a variety of people matters within a dynamic business environment. Additionally, this position will manage functional workplans and projects related to any mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures within Midstream.
Responsibilities May Include:
- Partner with business leaders to understand business objectives and develop people strategies that support those objectives
- Provide coaching and guidance to senior management on HR policies, practices, and procedures
- Manage HR projects related to mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures
- Partner with internal HR Centers of Excellence (CoEs) and service delivery partners to ensure processes and programs meet business needs aligned with enterprise standards
- Monitor organizational health through data, KPIs & BU/Function performance
- Drive the consistent delivery of enterprise talent standards and processes
- Deploy engagement and culture (OEIA/I&D) initiatives
- Lead succession planning process and participate in the identification/management of high potential employees
- Provide HR direction, consultation, advice to BU/Function leadership team
- Proactively identify talent issues before they impact the business
- Represent BU/Function talent interests within the organizatio
Required Qualifications:
- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- 5 or more years of exempt level experience in Human Resources or related field
- 3 or more years of experience in a HR Business Partner role
- Able to travel up to 10% of the time
- Be accessible for communication during non-business hours when require
Preferred Skills:
- Master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience developing and implementing effective people strategies
- Effective management of diverse stakeholders with different needs and perspectives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Experience with the analysis and application of data to support decision-making
- Broad HR technical expertise and systems knowledge
- Experience working in Oil & Gas or a related industr
