- Physical-Linked Optionality: Trade around embedded optionality in structured or physical positions, emphasizing curve, spread, and seasonal opportunities derived from commercial insight.
- Commercial Alignment: Collaborate closely with physical trading desks, analysts, and origination teams to ensure derivatives activity remains tightly aligned with commercial strategy, customer needs, and risk management objectives.
- Origination & Risk Management Support: Partner with origination and commercial teams to structure risk management solutions and pricing mechanisms that support new customer deals and long-term relationships.
- Capability Development: Support the build-out of broader derivatives capabilities, including tools, risk analytics, and trading infrastructure to improve efficiency, transparency, and commercial performance.
- Future Execution Desk Integration: Over time, help support the development of a central derivatives execution function by contributing to internal market-making activities in benchmark futures and select cleared swaps, facilitating efficient execution and liquidity management across commodity desks.

- 5+ years of experience trading commodity derivatives (futures, options, swaps), ideally within a physical trading, producer, or commercial energy environment.
- Strong grasp of market structure, options theory, curve dynamics, and cleared derivatives execution.
