Consultant, Enterprise FP&A

The Consultant, Enterprise FP&A role is responsible for providing CFO support, preparing bi-monthly board presentations, executive speaker notes, and monthly board reporting packages, while supporting earnings forecast cycles and financial analysis at both the enterprise and segment levels. The preferred candidate can demonstrate a deep understanding of financial statements, transaction flows, market and industry dynamics, and intercompany relationships. The position requires an ability to analyze earnings drivers and variances, liquidity, working capital, and other non-segment-specific drivers such as tax, treasury, and commercial activity. This role also contributes to key deliverables supporting the earnings release and other executive internal and external presentations.

 

Success in this position requires strong cross-functional collaboration, a questioning mindset, attention to details, and the ability to quickly grasp high-impact business activities. The candidate must be comfortable engaging with senior leadership, including the CFO and GM of FP&A, and responding to ad-hoc requests from Strategy, Investor Relations, Treasury, and other stakeholders. The ability to dynamically work on multiple priorities during peak reporting periods is also needed. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internal reporting systems (FRAP) is needed. This role offers exposure to senior Finance leadership and enterprise-level financial strategy, making it an excellent opportunity for a high-performing finance professional looking to take the next step in their career.

 

Summary:

  • Enterprise reporting with the ability to understand the market/industry, financial statements, the flow of transactions, & intercompany relationships.
  • Board, executive, and upper management support for period-end reporting and presentations.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and quickly gain understanding of complex and unusual subjects with deep attention to detail and understanding of enterprise & segment-level impacts.
  • Flexibility to adapt to ad-hoc requests and balance multiple/ongoing requirements of numerous stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities May Include:

  • Bi-monthly board presentations and executive speaker note preparation.
  • Month-end board reporting.
  • Monthly and quarterly earnings forecast and EPS forecast, including the ability to analyze:
    • Month-end/quarter-end enterprise & market analysis
    • Market commentary
    • Earnings variances
    • Working capital
    • Liquidity
    • Non-segment specific activity (tax, cash flow, controllable costs, commercial activity, treasury, etc.)
  • Quarterly ad-hoc earnings release support.
  • Other board, executive, and external presentations.
  • Executive support for global forums and internal/external speaking engagements
  • Ad-hoc work as needed by CFO/ GM FPA, as well as requests from outside FP&A (Strategy/IR/Treasury/etc).

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 8 or more years of financial or accounting experience

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams, diverse working styles, and manage interpersonal dynamics
  • Ability to quickly gain a deep understanding of all lines of business, complex transactions, and high-impact or unusual activities across the enterprise
    • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and constructively challenge information
  • Attention to detail to thoroughly review financial reports, investor communications, and executive presentations
  • Intermediate to advanced skillset for Microsoft Office and internal systems
  • Flexibility to manage fluctuating workloads, including periods of increased demand, while maintaining a necessary work-life balance
