Bunker Marketer

Phillips 66 is seeking a Bunker Marketer for their Commercial team in Houston, TX. 
 
Responsibilities May Include

  • Marketing bunkers (HSFO, LSFO & Marine Gasoil) to customers in New York Harbor on a delivered basis on both a spot & term basis. 
  • Generating above cost of capital ROCE through bunkering activities.
  • Optimize P66 refinery fuel oil and other 3rd party components through sales activities. 
  • Work closely with P66 refineries to optimize terminal & marine activity. 
  • Developing and establishing strong customer relationships with external traders, ship owners, brokers, other schedulers, terminal owners and operators, barging companies, inspection companies, P66 accounting, FP&A, marine, and risk groups.
  • Cross-training with other P66 Heavy Oil schedulers & Bunker Marketers to develop a greater understanding of P66 fuel oil business in order to provide vacation relief as needed.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1 or more years of waterborne scheduling experience
  • Fuel Oil blending & marine shipping experience
  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
  • Willing and able, with or without reasonable accommodations, to work after hours as required

 
Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficient in Excel and SAP
  • Good communication skills, ability to multi-task with close attention to detail
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, demanding environment
  • Able to maintain and develop third party business relationships and work effectively with internal and external customers
  • Accept ownership, take responsibility for actions, and make independent decisions
  • Consistently generates creative, resourceful solutions to generate highest margin
