As an Associate, Workers’ Compensation & Claims, you will report to the Team Leader and take ownership of the workers’ compensation and claims function by administering, evaluating, and resolving claims in accordance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and service standards. You will oversee third-party administrator (TPA) performance, drive claim strategy, and proactively deliver recommendations to internal stakeholders to achieve optimal claim outcomes, control costs, and ensure compliance.
What You’ll Do
- Own the end-to-end oversight and performance of workers’ compensation claims handled by Third Party Administrators (TPAs), including reviewing reserve adequacy and influencing claim strategy and outcomes.
- Independently manage general liability, auto liability, and subrogation claims from intake through resolution.
- Lead claim investigations by ensuring timely, thorough collection and analysis of facts, documentation, and expert input.
- Direct settlement strategy and negotiations within delegated authority, obtaining required approvals and ensuring compliant execution of releases.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders by delivering clear, actionable recommendations and guidance on claim exposure, resolution options, and risk mitigation.
- Ensure regulatory and Medicare compliance across all phases of claim administration and settlement.
- Maintain ownership of claim data integrity by ensuring accurate, timely, and complete claim records, including proper document preservation in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and audit standards.
What You’ll Bring – Required
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5 or more years of workers’ compensation or claims handling experience
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) Adjuster License and Workers’ Compensation Adjuster License

- Experience with general liability, auto liability, and subrogation claims management
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products and claims management systems
- Experience leveraging digital tools, analytics platforms, or AI-enabled solutions to enhance claims analysis, reporting, and workflow efficiency
Compensation Range
This position has a base salary range of $81,900 - $100,100.
