Join our Accounting Controllers team and play a key role as an Analyst II, Accounting Controllers in compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial information that supports business decision-making. This position contributes to the accuracy of financial data, reporting, budgeting, compliance, and operational accounting activities while working independently within established processes. This position is a plant accounting role, which focuses on Midstream operations along with accounting principles.
What You’ll Do
- Collect, analyze, and interpret financial and operational data to support accounting activities and business decisions.
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations and financial reports.
- Track budget performance, monitor variances, and provide reporting to support financial management processes.
- Generate standard and ad hoc reports by extracting, combining, and validating data from multiple systems.
- Support data management processes and provide guidance on the effective use of accounting and reporting tools.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding accounting policies, procedures, and financial information.
- Works proactively with external auditors to drive timely closure of accounting matters and supports the Finance teams to ensure proper accounting and disclosures.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy, data quality, and work processes.
What You’ll Bring – Required
- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration and/or equivalent experience
- Travel up to 5% of the time
What Makes You Stand Out – Preferred
- 1 or more years of experience performing accounting, financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, or related accounting functions
- Experience with Integrated account systems such as SAP, TIPS, Allegro and Aligne
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Knowledge of management accounting, project accounting, or P&L analysis
- Experience with database reporting, business intelligence tools, or SQL-based reporting solutions
- Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization
- Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and financial modeling
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder communication skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and communicate findings effectively
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
- Knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, and reporting practices
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Compensation Range
This position has a base salary range of $82,800 – $101,200.
