The Analyst of the G&P Contract Analysis team evaluates commercial contracts, leveraging a thorough understanding of commercial needs and available alternatives. The Analyst maintains databases with a focus on accuracy, analyzes asset portfolios, and contributes to processing new and existing deals to increase contract margin. The role is an entry level position with opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities May Include:
Manage contracts and databases throughout the life cycle of the commercial agreements for gathering and processing team.
- Monitor contract expirations and execute re-contracting strategies based on commercial direction.
- Identify commercial deals that are outside market conditions and provide recommendations.
- Analyze existing commercial deals to ensure portfolio is optimized and contractual terms are being followed.
- Provide reports and analysis to bring visibility to the contract portfolio; offer recommendations based on analysis.
- Review commercial agreements to verify the accuracy of contract data in internal software systems and update the information for accuracy.
- Proactively communicate with key stakeholders regarding contract updates.
- Improve and maintain the quality and integrity of contract databases.
- Ensure contracts are compliant with internal and SOX policies.
- Engage in continuous process improvement, while supporting team efforts.
- Perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Marketing or equivalent work experience
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and communications skills
- Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Preferred:
- Quorum Esuite knowledge, specifically with QCM
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint)
- Experience with using Icertis Contract Management for efficient contract lifecycle management
Midstream
Phillips 66's Midstream business is a safe, reliable and trusted logistics provider for the movement and storage of liquid or gas energy via pipelines or terminals. We are an industry leader in logistics and operate or manage more than 22,000 miles of pipelines that transport crude oil from oil fields to refineries and finished products from refineries to storage terminals. We operate 39 terminals that supply finished products to consumer gas stations, as well as crude oil and NGL storage terminals and NGL fractionation facilities. We also provide the connectivity between the various Phillips 66 business units.
