This role supports the Value Chain Optimization (VCO) organization by helping plan, analyze, and optimize supply and demand activities. The Advisor I, Product Optimization works closely with commercial, operations, and analytics teams to support data-driven decisions, improve inventory performance, and enable efficient, cost-effective product movement across the value chain.
What You’ll Do
- Perform analytical and reporting activities to support clean product supply, inventory management, and value chain optimization initiatives.
- Prepare and maintain inventory reports to track current levels, trends, and forecasts.
- Compile and manage price sets to support forecasting, STOP analysis, and run-level decision making.
- Deliver ad‑hoc analysis to inform business decisions related to supply, demand, and earnings.
- Use fundamental and technical data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across the value chain.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to support supplier, contract, and transfer price processes.
- Assist with clean product supply hedge program support and related analysis.
- Prepare materials for committees, including Transfer Price Committee meetings.
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and progress against targets.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by ensuring data accuracy, process discipline, and alignment with established planning and operational frameworks.
What You’ll Bring – Required
- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 or more years of relevant experience in supply chain, analytics, operations, or a related field
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

- Experience in the energy or commodities industry
- Exposure to supply chain planning, inventory optimization, or value chain analytics
- Familiarity with forecasting, pricing, or market analysis concepts
- Strong communication skills with experience presenting insights to stakeholders
- Demonstrated interest in continuous improvement and process optimization
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop insights
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative environment
Compensation Range
This position has a base salary range of $93,600- $114,400.
