The Advisor I, Commercial supports Phillips 66 Midstream Gathering & Processing commercial activities in the DJ and Eagle Ford Basins. In this role, you will help manage contracts, customer requests, commercial documentation, and data-driven decision-making. This opportunity is well suited for someone who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and interested in improving how commercial information is organized, reviewed, and used.
What You’ll Do
- Organize and analyze commercial data, identify trends, and prepare reports, approval materials, forecasts, and management updates.
- Support customer and contract tracking, asset and infrastructure mapping, profitability analysis, and other work that helps regional teams assess risks, opportunities, and priorities.
- Gather and summarize information from customers and partners in operations, finance, legal, procurement, and other functions to support aligned commercial decisions.
- Improve processes, documentation, data quality, reporting, and team workflows by responsibly using artificial intelligence, automation, and other digital tools; validate outputs against source information.
- Support account managers and regional commercial teams by reviewing, drafting, organizing, and maintaining contracts, amendments, term sheets, proposals, and related documentation.
- Monitor contract performance, obligations, compliance requirements, milestones, decisions, and follow-up actions; provide timely input for negotiations, customer requests, and internal decisions.
- Coordinate across stakeholders, maintain clear records, communicate issues, and follow through to keep work moving.
What You’ll Bring – Required
- Legally authorized to work in the country where the position is posted
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 2 or more years of relevant work experience in commercial, business development, operations, or a similar field
- Intermediate or greater proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
What Makes You Stand Out – Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in business, finance, accounting, engineering, marketing, data analytics, or a related field
- Experience using AI-enabled productivity tools, including prompt design, source retrieval, workflow automation, data validation, and human review
- Curiosity and willingness to learn and responsibly apply artificial intelligence, automation, data tools, and other technology-enabled ways of working
- Knowledge of natural gas, gathering, processing, transportation, midstream commercial operations, energy contracts, or related markets
- Experience supporting contracts, customer relationships, commercial proposals, project approvals, performance monitoring, obligation tracking, or follow-up activities
- Exposure to commercial analytics, business development, account management, financial analysis, profitability modeling, forecasting, operating-cost analysis, asset strategy, or regional business planning
- Experience managing information from multiple sources and using data visualization, mapping, or business intelligence tools with close attention to detail and data quality
- Strong communication, collaboration, accountability, organization, and business judgment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders while improving processes and workflows
Compensation Range
This position has a base salary range of $96,300 - $117,700.

Where a candidate offer falls within the posted range depends on the candidate's experience, skills, and alignment with the role’s requirements. Midstream
The Phillips 66 Midstream business is a safe, reliable, and trusted provider for the movement, storage, gathering, and processing of liquid or gas energy via pipelines or terminals. We are an industry leader in logistics and operate or manage more than 70,000 miles of pipelines that transport crude oil from oil fields to refineries and finished products from refineries to storage terminals. We operate 39 terminals that supply finished products to consumer gas stations, as well as crude oil and NGL storage terminals and NGL fractionation facilities. Our capabilities include extensive natural gas gathering and processing operations, enhancing our wellhead-to-market strategy. We also provide the connectivity between the various Phillips 66 business units.
