As a Phillips 66 Procurement University New Hire you will join our Early Career Program, a gateway to the dynamic world of Procurement and the experiences you need to build a rewarding career from the ground up. Applicants will be placed in an entry level role within Analytics, Data Insights, Business Improvement, Strategic Sourcing, or other function, dependent on business needs and candidate skillsets.
- Analyze and Innovate: Generate, extract, and analyze data to provide valuable insight into the market and our businesses spending patterns. Support business objectives and planning activities by developing and utilizing spend, cost, and market intelligence models to secure advantageous pricing and terms from our external partners.
- Master the Basics: Gain an understanding of fundamental procurement processes used across the company, and support strategic sourcing and supplier management activities for day to day operations and capital projects of various sizes to meet business needs.
- Hone Your Skills: Become proficient in interpreting, creating, and negotiating contract language that establishes the commercial and legal relationship between Phillips 66 and its counterparties. Develop the skills necessary to manage the full contract execution process from agreement inception to implementation while engaging with appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze and Innovate: Generate, extract, and analyze data to provide valuable insight into the market and our businesses’ spending patterns. Support business objectives and planning activities by developing and utilizing cost and market intelligence models to secure advantageous pricing and terms from our external partners.
Job assignments are likely to be located in Houston, TX or Bartlesville, OK, however, there may be opportunities at a variety of our operations locations in Linden, NJ; Lake Charles, LA; Roxana, IL; Ferndale, WA; Billings, MT; Rodeo, CA; Borger, TX; Ponca City, OK; Sweeny, TX; or Long Beach, CA.
Requirements for a Phillips 66 University New Hire
Required Qualifications:
- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or equivalent field of study
- Graduation date between Winter 2025 or Spring/Summer 2026
Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale
- Previous internship with Phillips 66
- Previous internship or co-op participant in related industry

Compensation
The base pay for this role is $85,500-$90,000 contingent upon discipline.
This position may be eligible for the Phillips 66 geographic differential pay program contingent upon location. Details and terms to be conveyed in offer of employment if eligible.
