What to Expect

As a Learning & Development Specialist in Midstream Operations, you’ll play a critical role in shaping a skilled, future-ready workforce. You’ll lead the delivery and continuous improvement of technical and professional development programs that empower employees to grow and succeed. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll collaborate with leaders, influence culture, and drive operational excellence across the region. This role will support the Northern Midstream region.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality training programs tailored to Midstream operations and technical competencies.
  • Lead skill mapping, onboarding, and assessments to ensure employees are equipped for success from day one.
  • Partner with leaders to identify learning needs, develop training plans, and align development with business goals.
  • Facilitate instructor-led training and hands-on skill development, including OQ evaluations and refresher courses.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in developing and updating training content and competency frameworks.
  • Monitor training effectiveness, analyze data, and close gaps through continuous improvement.
  • Support compliance with training standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate across regions to share best practices and ensure consistency in training programs.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience: 3+ years in training delivery or facilitation 
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required
  • Skills & Tools:
    • Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, and digital learning tools
    • Strong communication, facilitation, and organizational skills
    • Knowledge of compliance training requirements and employee training and development techniques
  • Mindset: Proactive, collaborative, and committed to continuous learning and operational excellence. Open to up to 50% travel.

 

What Makes You Stand Out

  • 10+ years in Midstream or Refinery Operations 
  • Strong understanding of Midstream operations and maintenance processes, including expertise in gas processing, mechanical and rotating equipment, and terminal operations
  • Understanding of learning management systems (e.g., Kahuna, Degreed, Cornerstone)
  • You’re a natural facilitator who can translate complex technical knowledge into engaging learning experiences.
  • You bring a strategic mindset to workforce development, aligning training with business outcomes.
  • You’re a trusted partner to leaders and employees, known for your ability to build relationships and drive results.
  • You have either an Associate’s or Technical degree

 

Compensation Range

  • $121,500 - $148,500
