The Operations Supervisor, Seminoe Midstream leads a team responsible for day-to-day operations and is located in Casper, WY. This role is responsible for ensuring that operations are executed at optimum cost while meeting or exceeding safety and environmental regulations and performance goals.
Responsibilities May Include:
- Scheduling and executing of safe operations which includes pipeline, truck rack, terminals, maintenance and managing regulatory files.
- Using Management of Change process for safe operations.
- Implementing and maintaining compliance with company standards, policies, procedures, and governmental regulations, using the SAP Preventative Maintenance system as a tool.
- Communicating with pipeline controllers and carriers for efficient coordination of facility and pipeline operations involving refined products.
- Coordinating work schedules and training of employees including work and safety meeting schedules, personal development, meeting CBT training requirements under the guidance of the Operations Supervisor.
- Participating in tabletop/deployment drills and security exercises as scheduled for area of responsibilities.
- Ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all scheduled delivery points under the Operations Supervisor.
- Investigating all inventory and Gain / Loss issues that are out of compliance with company measurement standards Managing Assurance Compliance Files.
- Reporting all accidents, completing SpheraCloud reports and related investigations.
- Being on-call to respond to after hour events.
- Driving safety compliance, operating excellence, managing overtime and absenteeism, working with stakeholders to increase asset utilization, and improving reliability.
- Ensuring cost effective execution of routine maintenance as it relates to Pipeline/Terminal Facilities.
- Ensuring the proper execution of facility orientations with employees, general maintenance contractors, and visitors. Approved for development/Review of JSA’s, LTT, Excavation, Confined Space and Hot Work Permits.
- Ensuring management of facilities Environmental Compliance documentation and files.
- Completing Operations Supervisor Training Curriculum.
Required Qualifications:
- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- 5 or more years of experience in Oil & Gas industry
- Willing and able to work after hours and weekends as needed
- Willing and able to be on call 24/7 as needed
- Willing and able to obtain, if selected, a Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC). Information can be found at https://www.tsa.gov/for-industry/twic
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or higher in a technical related field
- 3 or more years of supervisory experience
- Previous experience and/or responsibility planning and coordinating the day-to -day operations and maintenance activity for terminal operations personnel
- Intermediate level of proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to build relationships
Midstream
The Phillips 66 Midstream business is a safe, reliable, and trusted provider for the movement, storage, gathering, and processing of liquid or gas energy via pipelines or terminals. We are an industry leader in logistics and operate or manage more than 70,000 miles of pipelines that transport crude oil from oil fields to refineries and finished products from refineries to storage terminals. We operate 39 terminals that supply finished products to consumer gas stations, as well as crude oil and NGL storage terminals and NGL fractionation facilities.
