As a Sr Associate, IT Support, you’ll play a key role in keeping our technology environment running smoothly and reliably. This role is based in Denver, Colorado at the Denver Tech Center office and supports the Tech Center office and ICC (Integrated Control Center) as well as remote Midstream facilities within the region when needed.
What You’ll Do
- Provide reliable and efficient end-user support for personal computing environments and critical IT/OT business applications.
- Track, maintain, and document IT/OT hardware and supported systems.
- Monitor hardware, networks, and infrastructure software to keep systems and applications running reliably.
- Troubleshoot end‑user hardware and software issues, provide initial fault isolation, and escalate to senior partners when needed.
- Maintain less‑complex components of websites, applications, and databases, and perform routine performance and functionality tests.
- Complete standard operational tasks such as data management, incident logging, system monitoring, and documentation.
- Support basic security measures—like firewall or encryption protocols—and follow operational and compliance standards.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes while continuing to develop your technical skills.
- Partner with infrastructure teams to coordinate hardware refreshes and track, maintain, and document IT equipment.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on work requests, incident response, and disaster‑recovery activities.
- Provide clear, timely communication to keep stakeholders informed during troubleshooting and project work.
- Participate in after-hours (call-out) schedules to support critical systems and infrastructure.
- Continue building your knowledge across operating systems, cloud environments, and security practices while contributing to a stable, secure technology environment.
What You’ll Bring – Required
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 10 years of experience working with straightforward IT procedures or systems
- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for direct customer interaction
- Ability to work well with business, and local and remote IT resources
- Willingness to provide day-to-day and after-hours support (24x7) as needed
- Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and comply with safety requirements
- Compliance with safety requirements including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment when necessary
Physical requirements:
- Able to lift computer equipment that weighs up to 30 lbs. from the floor and safely carry up 4 flights of stairs
- Able to lift an individual item weighing up to 30 lbs
- Able to push/pull equipment on a cart of up to 100 lbs
- Able to climb 4 or more flights of stairs to access field hardware
What Makes You Stand Out – Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent
- 15 years of experience working with straightforward IT procedures or systems
- Experience supporting end‑user environments, infrastructure components, or basic system administration tasks
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, system testing, or basic network/security tools
- Strong leadership skills and ability to influence individuals and groups
- Ability to manage and perform multiple tasks concurrently, even under tough circumstances
- Plans and aligns work to meet organizational goals, prioritizing tasks and resources effectively
- Comfort learning new technologies and adapting within a fast‑moving IT environment
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, customer‑focused approach
- Demonstrated initiative in improving processes or suggesting solutions to enhance system performance
- Foundational ability to monitor, diagnose, and resolve routine technology issues with guidance
- Basic understanding of operating systems, security practices, and standard IT processes
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to follow established procedures
Compensation Range
This position has a base salary range of $88,200 - $ 107,800.
