Instrument Technician, Bartlesville Facilities

The Instrument Technician, Bartlesville Facilities will work on a variety of Instrumentation including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Rosemount and Honeywell pressure transmitters
  • Eurotherm temperature controllers and related thermocouples
  • Micromotion flow meters
  • Siemens Maxum analyzers
  • Cosa BTU analyzers
  • General H2S and hydrocarbon detectors
  • Honeywell and Delta V control systems

 

Some of the processes involved use hazardous and volatile materials under high pressure and temperature. Instrument Technicians are exposed to various work conditions including outside weather and elements, blowing air, heat, noise, vibration and occasionally working from heights and in confined spaces. Instrument Technicians must follow safe work practices including the wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

 

What You’ll Do

  • Installation of process instrumentation equipment
  • Troubleshooting instrumentation problems
  • Calibration of process instrumentation

 

What You’ll Bring - Required

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without restrictions
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Prior work experience with electrical test equipment
  • Prior work experience in process instrumentation
  • Willingness and ability, with or without a reasonable accommodation, to perform/comply with the following: 
    • To work overtime 
    • To work as a member of a team 
    • To work in industrial process areas 
    • To lift a minimum of 50 pounds 
    • To work around chemicals, including acids and bases 
    • To wear fire retardant clothing and personal protective equipment (such as steel-toe shoes, ear and eye protection and respirator/face mask)  
    • To work outside in harsh weather conditions
    • To learn computer software associated with process operations

    
What Makes You Stand Out - Preferred

  • Oklahoma State electrical license
  • Associate's degree or equivalent in electronics or process instrumentation
  • Experience dealing with fire and security systems
  • 3+ years of experience with Hart and Honeywell calibration equipment

 

Compensation Range

  • Starting pay for this position can range from $81,850 to $100,558 annually (before overtime). This position has a 7.5% annual cash bonus target, 8% 401k match, and Cash Balance Account pension.
