The Sr Advisor I, Cloud Development role on the Midstream Business Systems team focuses on delivering innovative digital solutions and driving operational efficiencies across the Midstream organization. The Sr Advisor utilizes their strong technical foundation, customer-first mindset, and ability to work in an agile environment to support and resolve complex business software challenges.
What You’ll Do
- Lead technical initiatives to advance team capabilities (e.g., cloud architecture, security, automation, monitoring, and knowledge sharing).
- Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications that support Midstream, utilizing knowledge of the business and organizational priorities.
- Collaborate with project teams, business analysts, enterprise architects, database administrators, and developers to design and implement solutions for business challenges.
- Automate processes and workflows to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure solutions meet or exceed compliance and audit requirements.
- Apply agile development methodologies and best practices.
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for code deployment and integration.
- Serve as a technical leader and mentor; provide guidance to developers and others on the team.
What You’ll Bring - Required
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- High School Diploma or GED
- 4 or more years of software development and/or DevOps experience
- Advanced proficiency in at least two modern programming languages (e.g., C#, .NET, Java, Python)
- Experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure or AWS), including services like Azure App Service, Azure Functions, AWS Lambda
- Experience with modern database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
What Makes You Stand Out – Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related discipline
- 10 or more years of experience in software development or DevOps-related roles
- Oil and Gas industry experience, particularly in Midstream operations
- Experience with DevSecOps practices
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with AI/ML services (e.g., Azure AI Search, Semantic Kernel, LangChain, AWS Bedrock)
- Knowledge of standard support concepts, practices, and procedures related to cloud technologies
- Expertise in automating testing, monitoring, alerting, and security scans
- Knowledge of standard support concepts, practices, and procedures related to cloud technologies
Compensation Range
This position has a base salary range of $136,800 - $167,200.
