What to Expect

As a Payroll Associate, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time, while maintaining compliance with state and federal laws. You’ll be part of a collaborative team, working closely with HR and internal clients, and contributing to continuous improvement in payroll processes. You’ll be trusted to handle sensitive information, solve routine problems independently, and support a culture of accountability and operational excellence.

 

What You'll Do

  • Collect, calculate, and enter payroll data to support accurate and efficient payroll delivery
  • Prepare off-cycle and final paychecks in accordance with legal requirements
  • Audit regular paychecks and resolve discrepancies by analyzing information
  • Maintain payroll records and documentation for SOX compliance and legal hold orders
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries and provide tier 2 support for HR
  • Handle income withholding orders and interact with government agencies as needed
  • Review and process tuition reimbursements, bonus payments, and other special payroll items
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory codes
  • Participate in training and development activities to build personal capability
  • Contribute to team efforts and handle general administrative activities as necessary

 

What You'll Bring (Required Qualifications)

  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to plan and prioritize work to meet deadlines and organizational goals
  • Tech savvy, with a willingness to learn and adopt new technologies
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently, solving routine problems with sound judgment

 

What Makes You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Payroll experience, especially with SAP Payroll systems
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
  • Experience in multi-state payroll administration and payroll auditing
  • Financial acumen, with the ability to interpret and apply key financial indicators
  • Action-oriented, tackling new opportunities and challenges with enthusiasm
  • Experience supporting compliance and continuous process improvement
  • Strong attention to detail and accountability for meeting commitments

 

Compensation:

$60,500- $73,920 annual base pay
