As a Consultant of Continuous Process Improvement you are responsible for driving a culture of continuous improvement through developing guidelines, targets and standards used for monitoring and measuring results. This is a hands-on role, diving deep to understand the current situation and processes in the business and thinking big to understand the blockers and issues. By incorporating Six Sigma methodology and analytics into organizational methodology this role will identify, analyze and improve business processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs and drive operational excellence.
Responsibilities May Include:
- Utilize in-depth understanding of process specific benchmarking and best practices to lead strategic multistep CI initiatives.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand needs and expectations, ensuring CI roadmap and initiatives align with business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather process-related data and insights and facilitate process improvement workshops and training sessions.
- Conduct thorough analysis of current business processes to identify failure points, inefficiency, simplification opportunities, and areas for improvement using analytics and industry best practices.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track ongoing process performance and assess the impact of process improvements.
- Utilize Lean Six Sigma and other process improvement methodologies, principles, values, philosophies, and tools to design and implement optimized processes.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including process maps, standard operating procedures, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate technology solutions that support process optimization.
- Drive innovation and integration of new technologies to enhance process automation and efficiency in the organization.
- Report functional team efficiency, quality, and manage goals; ensuring that the team and individuals understand the expectations and take appropriate action when needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
- 5 or more years of professional experience
- 2 or more years of experience in continuous process improvement, process analysis, and/or ERP implementations
- Familiarity of process mapping tools and methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability of lean principle tools/project management methodologies
- Must be a strong analytical, presenter and problem solver with the ability to interpret data
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects, deliver on commitments, and use sound judgment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Black Belt Certification in Lean Six Sigma, or other relevant certifications
- Experience with Signavio process mining tool implementations
- Working knowledge on Power BI, RPA tools
- Proven change management methodologies
