As a Freight Analyst, you’ll play a key role in keeping our supply chain moving with clarity, precision, and purpose. What You’ll Do

  • Manage day‑to‑day freight logistics activities to ensure efficient, reliable, and on‑time movement of products.
  • Coordinate transportation plans, optimize routes, and troubleshoot issues quickly to maintain operational flow.
  • Work within established planning frameworks to assess equipment needs, analyze data trends, and recommend process improvements.
  • Partner with production, product management, carriers, and commercial teams to share insights and support informed decision‑making.
  • Strengthen overall supply chain performance by supporting transportation planning and continually improving logistics management practices.
  • Lead cost‑reduction and efficiency projects while upholding service quality and operational standards.
  • Collect, interpret, and report logistics data to identify opportunities to streamline workflows and anticipate potential constraints.
  • Support cross‑functional initiatives and contribute to ad‑hoc projects, analyses, and presentation materials.
  • Build strong relationships across teams, stay current on industry best practices and technology, and continuously expand your logistics and analytical expertise.
  • Help ensure a high‑performing freight logistics operation through proactive problem‑solving and effective collaboration.

 

What You’ll Bring – Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience 
  • 3 or more years of relevant experience with the ability to operate independently on complex assignments and provide support or guidance to others as needed 
  • Intermediate proficiency with logistics and supply chain systems, data analysis tools, and standard business software
  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country

  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills across cross‑functional teams

Compensation Range 

This position has a base salary range of $81,000 – $99,000.

Where a candidate offer falls within the posted range depends on the candidate's experience, skills, and alignment with the role’s requirements. The Commercial organization  works to effectively leverage assets and market knowledge to create additional value within the risk parameters of the Company. We do this by maximizing general interest profitability, enhancing return on capital employed by successfully partnering with the Refining, Transportation and Marketing functions to ensure Value Chain Integration.   Our truck and rail fleets support our feedstock and distribution operations.  Rail movements are provided via a fleet of more than 10,000 owned and leased rail cars. Truck movements are provided through numerous third-party trucking companies, as well as through our 100 percent-owned subsidiary, Sentinel Transportation LLC.
