As an Associate III, Rodeo IT Support at the Phillips 66 Rodeo Renewable Energy Complex, you will provide hands-on IT support to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient technology services for site-based operations and office users. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working directly with customers, and supporting critical systems in a dynamic industrial environment.

 

This role is based at the Rodeo Renewable Energy Complex and supports the Complex, Midstream and Government Affairs facilities within the region.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Provide day-to-day technical support for desktops, mobile devices, network connectivity, telecommunications systems, and business applications across the Rodeo site and nearby offices.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and system performance issues while maintaining accurate documentation and asset tracking.
  • Collaborate with regional and central IT teams to support infrastructure activities, including hardware refreshes and system upgrades.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal partners to resolve incidents and complete work requests while adhering to safety and corporate standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, share best practices, and participate in knowledge-sharing networks.
  • Support critical systems through participation in an after-hours on-call rotation as required.

 

What You’ll Bring – Required

  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Willing and able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC). Information can be found at https://www.tsa.gov/for-industry/twic
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • 1 or more years of experience in Information Technology or a related discipline, including troubleshooting Microsoft Windows operating systems
  • Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and basic hardware installation
  • Operate company vehicle on site premises and/or public roads 
  • Willingness to particpate in a rotational on call schedule 
  • Ability to meet physical and safety requirements, including lifting equipment and working in industrial environments

 

Physical Requirements

  • Able to lift computer equipment that weighs up to 30 lbs. from the floor and safely carry up 4 flights of stairs
  • Able to lift an individual item weighing up to 30 lbs.
  • Able to push/pull equipment on a cart of up to 100 lbs.
  • Able to climb 4 or more flights of stairs to access field hardware
  • Must be clean shaven to comply with the refinery safety facial hair policy

 

What Makes You Stand Out – Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
  • CompTIA A+ certification; CompTIA Security+ is a plus
  • Experience supporting IT systems in refining, manufacturing, or industrial environments
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and follow defined procedures
  • Strong initiative, accountability, and interest in learning new technologies
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with business users and IT partners
 

Compensation Range 

This position has a base salary range of $83,900 - $102,520.
