As a Specialist II, Warehouse at Phillips 66, you will help ensure the right materials are in the right place at the right time to keep our operations running safely and reliably. You will perform and improve core materials management and warehouse activities, from receiving and storage through inventory control, quality checks, and reporting, using data and digital tools to drive decisions. Working closely with maintenance, engineering, procurement, and suppliers, you will support safe, efficient refinery operations and an excellent level of service to internal customers.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Manage day-to-day materials management activities, including receiving, safekeeping, storage, handling, and internal control of materials in line with company policies, procedures, and security measures.
  • Maintain accurate inventory for the site by executing goods receipts, issues, returns, and cycle counts in SAP and other inventory systems, investigating discrepancies and ensuring agreed stock levels are met.
  • Monitor materials and warehouse performance using reports and analytics, prepare regular metrics for site and corporate leadership, and recommend actions to optimize inventory, replenishment, and warehouse space utilization.
  • Perform quality assurance testing and inspections on incoming and stored materials, validate data and documentation, and take appropriate actions to ensure materials meet specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Support operational compliance by identifying and reporting instances of noncompliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory codes, and helping implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Partner with buyers, planners, maintenance, engineering, suppliers, and logistics providers to prioritize work, expedite critical materials, coordinate repairs and returns, and ensure timely delivery of requisitioned materials.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of warehouse processes, inventory control practices, and storage strategies, including MRP-driven replenishment and materials stocking evaluations.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and support to warehouse personnel and contract workforce as needed and act as a backup for the warehouse supervisor during absences to maintain safe, reliable operations.

 

What You’ll Bring – Required

  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1 or more years of experience in planning, materials management, warehouse operations, or procurement
  • 1 or more years of experience with SAP Materials Management (MM) modules, including goods receipts, goods issues, inventory, purchase orders, and material master data
  • Working knowledge of procurement policies, standards, and processes relating to warehouse operations
  • Intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Hold a current valid Driver's License
  • Must be willing and able, with or without reasonable accommodations, to comply with the following:
    • Operate a forklift
    • Lift 45 lbs
    • Work night shift, as required
    • Be after-hours on-call for warehouse operations, as needed

 

What Makes You Stand Out – Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or a related discipline
  • 3 or more years of experience in planning, materials management, warehouse operations, or procurement
  • 3 or more years of experience using SAP Materials Management (MM) modules for materials requisitioning, purchasing, and inventory management
  • Experience with sourcing, contracting, and negotiating with suppliers
  • Detailed knowledge of procurement policies, standards, and processes
  • Experience analyzing inventory and logistics data, building reports, and using insights to optimize stock levels, warehouse performance, and material flow
  • Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional initiatives across maintenance, engineering, procurement, and operations
  • Demonstrated focus on customer service, strong analytical and decision-making skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team environment

 

Compensation Range 

This position has a base salary range of $114,300 - $139,700.

The Ponca City Refinery is located in Ponca City, Oklahoma, approximately 95 miles northwest of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Its facilities include crude distilling, naphtha reforming, fluid catalytic cracking, alkylation, hydrodesulfurization and delayed coking units. The refinery processes a mixture of light, medium and heavy crude oil delivered via pipeline from Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, the U.S. Rockies and Canada. Infrastructure improvements have enabled the delivery of locally produced crude oil by pipeline and truck. The refinery produces a high percentage of transportation fuels and anode-grade petroleum coke. Refined products are primarily distributed to customers by company-owned and common carrier pipelines to markets throughout the Midcontinent region.
