The Gauger Operator will be working with the processes involved use hazardous and volatile materials under high temperature and pressure. Typical working conditions include: outside weather and elements, blowing air, heat, noise, vibration and occasionally working from heights and confined spaces. Operators must follow safe work practices including the wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities May Include:
- Performing routine pipeline/terminal maintenance.
- Monitoring / controlling pipeline delivery and receipts.
- Ensuring quality and quantity of products/crude.
- Identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts.
- Accurately ensuring timely completion of required paperwork.
- Staying abreast of changes in operations.
- Performing operational duties in accordance with the Terminal Operating and Procedures Guide and Local Operating Procedures Guide.
- Responding to emergencies and maintaining emergency and measurement equipment.
- Completing mandated safety and regulatory training (CBT).
- Maintaining effective and professional relationship with customers and responding promptly to their needs.
- Performing environmental and regulatory checks, eliminating-containing-reporting product/crude leaks, seeps and spills.
- Occasionally assuming supervisor's responsibilities during absences.
- Assisting with construction and maintenance projects and pursuing cost reduction opportunities.
Required Qualifications:
- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must maintain a valid driver's license
- Willingness and ability to perform and comply with following, with or without reasonable accommodations:
- To climb up to 20 feet using both inclined and vertical ladders
- To lift up to 69 pounds
- To push and pull forces up to 100 pounds
- To respond to emergency calls as needed
- To remain on call as needed
- To work 12-hour shifts rotating between days, nights, weekends.
- To work overtime on an as-needed basis
- To work in enclosed spaces, such as tanks and silos
- To work with chemicals and bases
- To wear personal protective equipment (such as fire-retardant clothing, steel-toe shoes, ear and eye protection)
- To maintain your face so that a respirator / face mask can seal properly (i.e to be clean shaven (facial hair))
- To work outside in harsh weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 or more of years of experience in the oil and gas industry
- 1 or more of years of experience you have in emergency response training
- 1 or more of years of experience with mechanical and/or rotating equipment maintenance
- Basic level or proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP
- Knowledge of Lock Out Tag Out, Hot work Permits, Excavations Permits, Critical Lifts and Line Locates
