As a Specialist III, Measurement Business Systems, you will serve as the Product Owner for FITS (Field Information Technology Services), a customer-facing application that provides producer customers with daily production monitoring, near real-time meter data access, and reporting for gathering and processing assets. You will work with development teams to deliver application enhancements and serve as a point of contact for external producer customers. The role focuses primarily on product ownership and customer engagement, while also supporting day-to-day platform administration. This role partners with Measurement, Commercial, IT, and development teams to translate business and customer needs into practical solutions across measurement business systems.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as Product Owner for FITS, prioritizing application enhancements based on customer feedback and opportunities to expand capabilities and reduce manual effort.
  • Serve as a point of contact for external producer customers, building relationships, gathering feedback, and communicating application changes.
  • Gather business and customer requirements through interviews, workshops, document and workflow analysis, and translate them into clear requirements, practical solution recommendations, and supporting feasibility assessments and business cases.
  • Analyze current-state and future-state processes, identify gaps and opportunities to improve data quality, system reliability, billing accuracy, reporting, and operational efficiency, and document process designs, data mappings, integration specifications, and functional requirements.
  • Partner with Measurement, Commercial, IT, Finance, Operations, development teams, external customers, and technology vendors to understand end-to-end processes and deliver effective business system solutions.
  • Coordinate business testing, defect resolution, implementation readiness, cutover activities, user communications, and post-implementation validation.
  • Monitor delivered solutions and evaluate whether expected business benefits, automation gains, and process improvements are being achieved.
  • Perform day-to-day FITS administration, including application configuration, user access, customer onboarding, monthly billing processes, and resolution of customer requests and ServiceNow tickets.
  • Support measurement business systems, including FlowCal and Trac66, through master data setup, configuration support, and data validation activities.
  • Contribute to application and database specifications by following applicable standards, supporting data integrity, and helping ensure solutions meet customer and business needs.
  • Create and maintain clear technical documentation and user guides for systems, processes, and delivered solutions.
  • Support development of the Midstream business systems roadmap by monitoring relevant technology, measurement-system developments, external requirements, and industry practices to evaluate new capabilities, identify business priorities, and help define future-state processes and platform requirements.
