Basic Function
This roles provides support to Phillips 66 Coke & Sulfur product managers and customers for account administration and product scheduling issues, liaising closely with other internal and external groups in the UK, USA and China to ensure a comprehensive service.
Primary Accountabilities/Responsibilities
- Work closely with Coke & Sulfur product managers, other Phillips 66 personnel, external logistics providers and customers to schedule coke and sulfur deliveries to meet P66 and customer expectations and to avoid congestion in P66 port and warehouse facilities. Deal promptly with internal and external customer queries and conflicts.
- Monitor the costs of alternative modes of dry goods transport and recommend the most cost effective mode for deliveries and movements of specialty coke.
- Prepare regular and ad hoc reports and data with a particular emphasis on accurate tracking of contractual obligations and credit exposure, actively looking for opportunities to improve on efficiency and results.
- Maintain a strong control environment in accordance with Phillips 66 Process and Controls Standards by.
- Ensuring adequate financial security is in place prior to each and every delivery being effected in order to cover P66’s exposure to potential non-payment.
- Highlight any potential future credit exposure, above accepted levels, to specialty coke product managers and logistics personnel promptly.
- Liaising with Business Compliance groups and customers to ensure ‘know your customers’ checks are completed prior to sales/purchase agreements being executed

- Provide cover for other Sales Support roles within Coke & Sulfur, including:
- Taking ownership for customer system set up updates & renewals, mainly in SAP, as well as setting up contractual arrangements for customers.
- Ensuring the invoicing process is completed in a timely manner and the raising of correction credits/debits process is adhered to.
- Undertaking a range of regular administrative tasks, to include transactional activities and administration of product movements to customers/other Phillips 66 locations • Providing assistance to Finance groups in the closing of Financial accounts at each month-end, quarter-end and year-end.
- Further development opportunities include sulphur sales to third parties ex Humber Refinery – negotiating prices and optimising related refinery logistics

- Ability to work effectively whether independently or as part of a team.
- Good systems knowledge – proficient in SAP, Excel and SharePoint.
- Highly numerate with business acumen – as it relates to customer financial data and internal accounting requirements.
- Analytical skills – ability to analyse data and draw conclusions.
- Continuous improvement mind-set regarding processes and admin tasks
