The Senior Organization Design Specialist will work closely with HR Business Partners and business unit leaders to support organization design initiatives and drive a consistent organization design approach and methodology across the company.
Responsibilities May Include:
- Facilitating Organization Design (OD) workshops to reach desired business outcomes and in line with the corporate strategy
- Performing enterprise level organization diagnostics and recommending interventions
- Managing and engaging with senior leaders and executives
- Providing insights and recommendations to senior leaders
- Designing and implementing organizational structures, including roles, responsibilities, and reporting relationships
- Leading and delivering multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong planning and organizational skills
- Partnering with Employee Experience, Change Management, and HR Project Management Office colleagues to ensure a smooth implementation of projects
- Using influence and political savvy in addressing trade-off issues with senior leaders
- Partnering with HR Business Partners, business leaders, and other OD team members, providing formal and informal coaching and OD training when needed, raising OD awareness and capability across the company
- Maintaining OD methodology and tools and incorporating lessons learned
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of OD initiatives
- Monitoring structural metrics (e.g., spans, layers, headcount) and identifying trends
- Staying current with industry trends and OD best practices
Required Qualifications:
- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 or more years of experience in Organization Design, HR, Organizational Effectiveness, Communication, Strategy, Process Design, Consulting, or related field
- Strong facilitation skills for leading workshops and training sessions
- Strong strategic and conceptual thinking
- Strong executive presence and professional maturity
- Strong business acumen and understanding of how organizations function
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using AlignOrg Solutions’ organization design methodology
- 3 or more years of experience working with senior leaders
- Organization Design and/or Organization Effectiveness certification (AlignOrg or other)
- 3 or more years in program / project management
