As the Senior Advisor III, ERP Solution Architect,you will shape the long-term ERP platform strategy, modernization roadmap and enterprise architecture direction for Phillips 66's SAP ecosystem. This role partners with business, technology and transformation leaders to enable scalable, clean-core, AI-ready ERP capabilities aligned to enterprise outcome. You’ll guide architectural direction across complex SAP landscapes, ensuring that ERP capabilities enable business value, maintain clean-core discipline, and meet regulatory and security expectations. This role operates at an enterprise level, providing expert architectural leadership that connects technology decisions to business outcomes.

 

What You'll Do

 

  • Develop and evolve SAP architecture strategy aligned with business priorities and clean-core principles.
  • Lead architectural oversight for integrations, custom development, M&A activity, and modernization initiatives.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define ERP transformation roadmaps, modernization priorities and target-state operating models.
  • Drive alignment between ERP platform capabilities, enterprise architecture standards, business process transformation and AI enablement strategies.
  • Present strategy recommendations, architectural tradeoffs and modernization roadmaps to senior leadership and governance boards.
  • Ensure ERP platform design align with enterprise security, compliance and governance requirements.
  • Define target-state ERP capabilities, modernization priorities, and transition roadmaps aligned to  enterprise transformation initiatives
  • Define sustainable architecture standards and direct infrastructure and platform planning.
  • Guide upgrades, conversions, tooling decisions, and integration patterns across SAP and non-SAP systems.
  • Evaluate emerging SAP capabilities and define architectural guardrails for responsible adoption aligned to enterprise governance.
  • Mentor team members and influence key technology decisions without direct authority.

 

 

What You'll Bring – Required

  • 10 or more years of broad, deep experience in enterprise architecture or related technical leadership roles
  • Advanced proficiency and extensive hands‑on SAP experience, including S/4HANA, ECC architecture, and landscape design
  • Intermediate proficiency and knowledge of SAP PCE operating model and vendor delivery structures 
  • Expert proficiency in defining and governing ERP architecture standards across applications, data, integration, security, and technology domains
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP Clean Core principles, technical debt governance, system conversions, and upgrade strategies
  • Intermediate proficiency in SAP BTP services, monitoring tools, observability solutions, or business process monitoring
  • Intermediate proficiency in designing and assessing ERP integrations across SAP and non‑SAP systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS or a related discipline
  • Legally authorized to work in the job posting country

 

What Makes You Stand Out – Preferred

  • Experience supporting SAP landscapes in asset‑intensive or highly regulated industries.
  • Experience defining ERP or SAP standards in large enterprise environments.
  • Experience defining SAP platform strategy, capability roadmaps, architectural governance models, and long-term modernization direction across ERP ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with SAP transformation and governance capabilities such as Signavio, LeanIX, Cloud ALM, and SAP Joule.
  • Knowledge of modern DevOps practices applied to SAP, including extensibility frameworks and custom‑code modernization.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS or related discipline.
  • Recognized subject‑matter expertise in data architecture, cloud computing, integration, or security management.
  • Familiarity with SAP Joule AI capabilities and emerging SAP AI tools.

 

Compensation Range 

This position has a base salary range of $176,400 – $215,600.
