As a Senior Advisor I, IT Business Partner, you will play a critical role in bridging business needs and technology solutions, supporting risk and compliance capabilities while driving digital transformation initiatives. You will partner across business and IT teams to deliver impactful solutions, improve processes, and support strategic decision-making in a fast-paced, complex environment.
What You’ll Do
- Translate business strategies into clear IT requirements and functional specifications, ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs and organizational goals.
- Lead end-to-end business analysis activities including requirements elicitation, documentation, validation, and lifecycle management across projects.
- Analyze current and future-state processes to identify gaps, improvement opportunities, and scalable solutions for risk and compliance functions.
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder discussions, and backlog prioritization to drive decision-making and deliver high-value outcomes.
- Partner with technical teams to review system designs, support development, and ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and contribute to business case development for new initiatives and enhancements.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to enhance platforms, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with SLAs and contractual commitments.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement by leveraging data insights, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
What You’ll Bring – Required
- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 or more years of experience in business analysis, IT, or related roles
What Makes You Stand Out – Preferred
- 10 or more years of IT or business analysis experience supporting complex, integrated systems
- Experience in risk and compliance, commodity trading, or energy industry environments
- Knowledge of Value-at-Risk (VaR), pricing, trade monitoring, and compliance systems
- Experience with system implementations involving ETRM, SAP, or data and analytics platforms
- Familiarity with SQL, BI tools, and data visualization techniques
- Strong vendor management and contract negotiation experience
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and innovation initiatives
- Professional certifications such as PMI-PBA or similar credentials
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis skills
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into technical solutions
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in complex environments
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
Compensation Range
This position has a base salary range of $140,400.00 - $171,600.00.
