What to Expect
As an Associate, Facilities, supporting Postal Service Mail, you’ll help keep our offices running smoothly by preparing, routing, and delivering mail and parcels with accuracy and care. You’ll work as part of a service-focused team that supports employees across the site, operating mailroom equipment and following clear procedures to ensure timely, reliable delivery. This role is a great fit if you enjoy hands-on work, staying organized, and contributing to safe, efficient daily operations at Phillips 66.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare incoming and outgoing mail and parcels for distribution by picking up, sorting, and routing items according to established procedures and schedules.
- Deliver mail and parcels throughout the office or site, obtaining signatures when required and maintaining accurate records of shipments, pouches, and sacks.
- Operate basic mailroom and material-handling equipment—such as mail processing machines, electric pallet jacks, and carts—by following strict, detailed instructions and safety guidelines.
- Assist with routine maintenance, basic safety checks, and general clean-up of mailroom equipment and work areas to keep tools, supplies, and spaces organized and in good working order.
- Process inbound and outbound shipments, including goods receipts and shipping documentation, and help update shipping and delivery metrics.
- Maintain mailroom inventories and supplies, update sort-bin labels, and support invoice coding and other routine administrative tasks.
- Follow required health, safety, and environmental procedures, including use of personal protective equipment, to protect yourself, coworkers, and the work environment.
- Work according to assigned schedules, communicate status clearly, and collaborate with teammates and internal customers to resolve mail-related questions and ensure reliable service.
What You’ll Bring – Required
- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Must be willing and able, with or without reasonable accommodations, to comply with the following:
- Lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Perform regular walking, standing, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling in a mailroom, office, and delivery environment.
- Operate carts, pallet jacks, and other mail handling equipment as part of daily work.
What Makes You Stand Out – Preferred
- Experience with SAP.
- One or more years of mail, shipping, or receiving experience.
- Experience with Pitney Bowes mail processing software.
- Knowledge of Xray equipment.
- Experience operating mailroom equipment and material-handling devices.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accurate records and shipping data.
- Experience providing professional, responsive service to employees, delivery providers, and vendors.
Compensation Range
This position has a base salary range of $60,750 – $74,250.
