The Commercial Scheduler II, Condensate and Lease Crude will work in an open, fast-paced team of Commercial Schedulers in Houston to optimize condensate and lease crude in Phillips 66’s portfolio for both Commercial Supply and Trading positions. This role supports day-to-day condensate and lease crude scheduling execution, refinery and processing support, product coordination, inventory monitoring, supplier performance, and collaboration across commercial and operating / logistics teams to improve reliability, efficiency, and business results.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Execute condensate and lease crude supply planning, scheduling, and blending activities within established systems and commercial frameworks.
  • Coordinate condensate and lease crude movements across the supply chain, including refinery and processing support and logistics across rail, truck, pipeline, terminal, and other channels as needed.
  • Monitor actual volumes loaded and received, reconcile scheduled versus physical movements, and actively manage long/short balances to support accurate positions, timely issue resolution, and supply reliability.
  • Monitor supplier and service provider performance and support improvement actions when gaps arise.
  • Analyze condensate and lease crude quality, cost drivers, market conditions, inventory positions, and supply-chain risks to support commercial decisions and lease optimizations.
  • Actively manage upstream blend plans and nominations; coordinate with other scheduling desks to ensure nominations, receipts, deliveries, and operating plans remain aligned.
  • Monitor refinery, terminal, and other asset operations and condensate and lease crude inventory positions, proactively identifying constraints, risks, and opportunities to support value optimization and supply reliability.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues, improve alignment, and support continuous improvement.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying process enhancements, maintaining desk documentation, and sharing best practices to improve efficiency and execution quality.

 

What You’ll Bring – Required

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3 or more years of experience in the energy industry supporting logistics, supply, and/or trading activities
  • Intermediate or greater proficiency with analytical tools such as Excel and PowerBI
  • Willing and able to work extended or non-standard hours as required to support scheduling operations

 

What Makes You Stand Out – Preferred

  • Experience with refinery or processing support, condensate or product scheduling, inventory management, or transportation logistics
  • Experience with rail, truck, pipeline, terminal, or multi-modal movement coordination
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a finance, technical, or engineering discipline
  • Proficiency with SAP and/or Right Angle and commercial logistics or scheduling systems
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and support data-driven decisions
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills

 

Compensation Range

This position has a base salary range of $108,900 - $133,100. This role is eligible to participate in the company’s commercial bonus program, offering the opportunity to earn additional compensation based on business and individual performance, in accordance with program guidelines.

The Commercial organization  works to effectively leverage assets and market knowledge to create additional value within the risk parameters of the Company. We do this by maximizing general interest profitability, enhancing return on capital employed by successfully partnering with the Refining, Transportation and Marketing functions to ensure Value Chain Integration.   Our truck and rail fleets support our feedstock and distribution operations.  Rail movements are provided via a fleet of more than 10,000 owned and leased rail cars. Truck movements are provided through numerous third-party trucking companies, as well as through our 100 percent-owned subsidiary, Sentinel Transportation LLC.
