As an Advisor II, Finance Analytics and Solutions at Phillips 66, you will turn complex data into clear insights that help shape our business decisions and long-term strategy. You will work independently and with cross-functional partners to design reports, dashboards, and analytics that make it easier for leaders to see what is happening and where to act. In this role, you will help build consistent reporting standards, improve data quality, and deliver analysis that supports safe, reliable, and efficient operations across the company.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze reporting needs and translate them into clear KPIs, dashboards, and standard reports that support business planning and performance management.
• Collect, cleanse, and analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform decisions and highlight opportunities or risks.
• Build and maintain queries, reports, and business intelligence solutions to ensure data is accurate, timely, and accessible for stakeholders.
• Develop recurring and ad hoc reports, explaining complex analysis in a straightforward way and recommending practical actions based on your findings.
• Explore data using statistical and analytical techniques to test hypotheses, evaluate process performance, and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand their questions, advise on how to use data effectively, and respond to analytics requests with clear, well-documented outputs.
• Test and validate changes to reporting tools, dashboards, and applications, monitoring performance and resolving issues in collaboration with IT and business partners.
• Support data governance by documenting definitions, improving data quality, and helping standardize analytics processes and best practices across the team.
• Operate with a high degree of independence to own end-to-end ad hoc reporting deliverables, processes, and business recommendations, ensuring timely, accurate, and actionable insights for stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring – Required

• Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
• Bachelor’s degree
• 3 or more years of relevant working experience in finance, analytics, data science, business intelligence, or similar roles

What Makes You Stand Out – Preferred

• 5 or more years of experience in finance, analytics, data science, or business intelligence role
• Experience transforming financial data into clear, actionable business insights
• Hands-on experience with business intelligence and reporting tools (for example,  SAP Business Warehouse, Power BI, Databricks, SQL Server Reporting Services, or similar platforms).
• Experience applying advanced analytical and statistical techniques to solve business problems and build predictive or diagnostic models
• Proven ability to translate complex analysis into clear, compelling stories and recommendations for non-technical audiences

Compensation Range 

This position has a base salary range of $108,900 – $133,100.

Where a candidate offer falls within the posted range depends on the candidate's experience, skills, and alignment with the role’s requirements.
