What to Expect
The Maintenance Clerk (Turnaround) supports the turnaround planning team with SAP and administrative tasks.
What You’ll Do:
- Close T/A notifications as directed from T/A Execution specialists
- Manage office materials and supplies/ copiers/printers/ink for T/A satellite offices
- Manage T/A radio surplus
- Build Work Execution and Onboarding packets
- Support Turnaround Cost Specialist as required
- Run and update T/A reports as directed by the Turnaround Manager
- Oversee and Maintain Document Retention and Management (DRM) for T/A documents and file locations
- Support Turnaround Logistics Lead with IT requests, etc.
- Assist Maintenance Clerk as needed during non-T/A times
- Scan and upload repair reports / PM documents/ Data into Livelink and/or SAP as applicable
- Backfill for Maintenance Clerk or Planning and Scheduling Clerk as needed.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor
What You’ll Bring – Required:
- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- 1 or more years of previous experience as an administrative assistant or clerk
- Work overtime and work weekends during major events, as needed to support turnaround efforts and other activities
- To wear personal protective equipment, such as flame-retardant clothing, eye protection, ear protection, steel-toed boots, hard hat, etc.
- To maintain your face daily so that a respirator/face mask can seal properly (some examples include being free of facial hair and/or clean shaven)
What Makes You Stand Out – Preferred:
- Associate’s degree in business administration or related field
- 3 or more years as an administrative assistant or clerk
- Previous experience in a refinery or similar work environment
- Experience with Power BI
- Experience with SAP
Compensation
The hourly rate for this position is determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement. The starting hourly rate in the pay progression is currently $29.07 per hour.
The Borger Refinery is located in Borger, Texas, in the Texas Panhandle, approximately 50 miles north of Amarillo, Texas. Refinery facilities include crude distilling, naphtha reforming, fluid catalytic cracking, alkylation, hydrodesulfurization and delayed coking units. The refinery processes primarily medium sour crude oil produced locally, and heavy sour crude oil produced in Canada, all of which are delivered by pipeline. Borger produces a high percentage of transportation fuels, as well as petroleum coke, NGLs and solvents. Refined products are distributed to customers via pipelines from the refinery to West Texas, New Mexico, Colorado and the Midcontinent region.
