The Volumetric Accounting Senior Analyst is responsible for ensuring all movements of product into and out of the refinery are properly recorded in SAP.
Responsibilities May Include:
- Review and approve inventory during the monthly close process, which includes ensuring the Automated Charge & Yield is properly updated.
- Review and approve volumetric reconciliations in Blackline.
- Communicate unreconciled issues to the appropriate parties to promote resolution.
- Build relationships and partner with Refining, Commercial, Movement Capture Analysts, Billing, Transportation, FP&A, Managed Service Provider, and various other groups.
- Maintain Volumetric Applications: PI Asset Framework (PIAF), Fence Line Yield (FLY), Automated Charge & Yield (ACY), PowerBI Volumetric Tie In Report.
Required Qualification:
- Legally authorized to work in job posting country
- Proficient/Advanced in Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with a minimum of 15 Accounting hours
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of accounting experience in oil and gas
- Working knowledge of SAP FI and MM
- Strong communication, analytical, and reconciliation skills
- Self-starter who prioritizes, multi-tasks, has attention to detail, and meets deadlines
- Experience in inventory accounting and/or the oil and gas industry preferable
