The Control Room Director manages the remote operation of Midstream pipeline assets from the Bartlesville Control Center. This includes supervisory staff and, controller staff to support the safe and efficient operations of pipeline assets. The director is responsible for strategic direction of the control center, continuous OE/HSE improvement, ensuring compliance to the Control Room Management (CRM) regulation, direct leadership of control center staff, indirect leadership of personnel supporting the control center and budgeting responsibilities for operational costs associated with the control center.
Responsibilities May Include:
• Promoting safe work environment and safety culture that delivers excellent HSE performance.
• Responsible for operating personnel engagement during critical work activities.
• Developing team to think in terms of systems and processes and understand interrelationships between components and functions in a system.
• Adapting to changes and leading team to adapt to changes.
• Leading team capable of solving complex problems and functions.
• Networking effectively with cross-functional personnel.
• Providing coaching and teaching skills to guide team members.
• Providing valued technical ideas and advice to other team members to enhance team performance.
• Oversite of Control Room Management (CRM) requirements and management within the regulation.
• Oversite of the Houston Control Center budget and overall management within boundaries of the established budget.
Required Qualifications:
• Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
• High school diploma/GED or higher
• 5 or more years of experience in pipeline operations
• Willing and able to be available after hours, on weekends and holidays
• Willing and able to travel 10% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• 5 or more years supervisory experience
Midstream
Phillips 66's Midstream business is a safe, reliable and trusted logistics provider for the movement and storage of liquid or gas energy via pipelines or terminals. We are an industry leader in logistics and operate or manage more than 22,000 miles of pipelines that transport crude oil from oil fields to refineries and finished products from refineries to storage terminals. We operate 39 terminals that supply finished products to consumer gas stations, as well as crude oil and NGL storage terminals and NGL fractionation facilities. We also provide the connectivity between the various Phillips 66 business units.
